A. Warren Carswell, of Florence, AL passed away Wednesday February 18, 2009.Warren was a devoted husband and father. He loved spending time with his granddaughters and great-granddaughter. He will be greatly missed by family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Robert G. Carswell and Louverne C. Carswell and sister Ann Carswell.
Visitation will be Friday February 20th at Elkins Funeral Home, Florence, AL from 6:00-8:00pm. A private graveside service will be performed by Pastor Jerry Rea on Saturday, February 21 at Jefferson Memorial Gardens in Trussville, AL.
Mr. Carswell is survived by his wife Joan C. Carswell of Florence, AL; his son, Robert D. Carswell (Susan) of Leeds, AL; his sister, Janice Thrower of Columbus, GA; grandchildren, Harper Basquill (Matt) and Bailey Carswell and great-granddaughter, Hannah Kate Basquill all of Leeds, AL.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to UAB Department of Pediatric Hematology-Oncology.
