Funeral for Alice Lee Sivley Bass, 88, of Moulton will be Wednesday, December 26, 2012, at 2 p.m. at Moulton Baptist Church with Dr. Jesse Reeder, Dr. Mark Wakefield and Dr. Ron Ethredge officiating and Elliott's Brown-Service directing. Burial will be in Moulton Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. at the church.
Mrs. Bass died Sunday, December 23, 2012. She was born December 26, 1923, in Lawrence County to Luther and Gola Mae Cooper Sivley. She taught Sunday school for 50 years at Moulton Baptist Church and
had 50 years of service as a retail salesperson for Clients & Friends across North Alabama, King's Department Store and Parisian, Decatur. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Clyde Corbin Bass.
Survivors include four daughters, Sandra (Bobby) Smith, Donna (Bruce) Stults, Elizabeth (James) Lewis and Jacque (Steve) Flory; seven grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Willie Mae Richards.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Moulton Baptist Church Land for the Future Fund or Lottie Moon Foreign Missions Offering. Published in the Decatur Daily on December 25, 2012
