Memorial service for Bill Mallett Sr., 76, of Trinity will be Friday, April 6, 2012, at 10 a.m. at Resurrection Catholic Chapel with Deacon Dennis Knobs officiating. Elliott Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Mallett, who died Monday, April 2, 2012, was born April 16, 1935, in West Virginia to Albrow William Mallett and Virginia Junita Pickens Mallett. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Ernest R. Mallett.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Mickie Mallett; son, Alonzo W. Mallett Jr. (Drema K.) of Decatur; two grandchildren, Alonzo W. Mallett III of Fayetteville, N.C., and Brandi Dea Perillat (Ryan) of Florence; great-granddaughter, Koree Athena Mallett of Fayetteville, N.C.; godson, Daniel Ray Ebarb of Tucson, Ariz.; goddaughter, Mikayla Josephine Hobbs of Yukon, Okla.; sister, Sharon Rollins (Philip) of Sorrento, Fla.; sister-in-law, Pat Mallett of Charleston, W.Va. and several nephews and nieces and great-nephews and great-nieces; ex-wife, Dorothy Lewis of Florida; four daughters, Kathy Mangan and Karen Richardson, both of Florida, Debbie Black and Tiki Easter, both of West Virginia; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
