Funeral for Alton Alexander from Moulton will be Friday, March 13th at 2:00pm at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with Dr. Tommy Whitlow officiating. Burial will be at Moulton Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Thursday, March 12th from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at Elliott Funeral Home.

Alton Alexander, who died Tuesday March 10th, 2015, was born in Lawrence County on February 27, 1946 to Willard B. Alexander and Clara Ophelia Alexander. He was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and his hobbies involved fishing and tinkering with small engines. Pops loved his Grandchildren very much.

He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Inez Bolan Alexander; two daughters, Shree McCullough (Michael) and Michelle Simpson; four grandchildren, Lillie and Thomas McCullough and Jordan and Kellie Simpson; and his sister Anita Lamon (Randall). Pallbearers will be Blake Bolan, Allen Aldridge, Stephen Aldridge, Brian Lamon, Darren McMillan, and JD McMillan.
