Amon McLemore died on December 19, 2020.

He was born to Willie McLemore and Ninne Southern McLemore on February 10, 1932 in Lawrence County.  He worked as a trim carpenter before retirement.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Betty McLemore (Rutherford), sons: Kevin McLemore (Kim) and Brent McLemore, daughters; Rhonda Howells (Alan) and Tammy Armstrong.  Grandchildren; McKenzie Armstrong, Chelsey Cameron (Eric), Peyton McLemore, and Troy McLemore.  Great-grandchildren; Case Cameron and Kennedy Cameron.  He is also survived by brothers; Hershel McLemore and Fred McLemore.
