Ann Brewer Webb
Mrs. Ann Brewer Webb went to be with her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, May 31, 2016 after a heartbreaking and sudden accident at her family home. Ann Brewer Webb was a devoted mother, grandmother, and wife. She was a beloved teacher in the Lauderdale County School system for over 26 years. She adored her students and never failed to hug and catch up with them whenever possible. She will be remembered for being a precious little lady who had the world''s biggest heart.
Other than her love for the Lord, her greatest devotion was to her husband, children and grandchildren. She loved totally, unconditionally and always provided a safe place for them to land. Ann was generous, kind, loving, and the friendliest soul to have ever lived.
Born on February 4, 1942, Ann was 74. She was raised in Lawrenceburg, TN and moved to Florence to attend UNA where she received her BS degree in English and History.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Marie and Sonny Barber.
She is survived by her loving husband, Roland Webb, and her heartbroken children, Amy Brewer Mayfield (Steve), Emily Brewer Mayfield (Brad), Chuck Webb (Annette), and Randy Webb (Nancy). She is also survived by her precious grandchildren whom she adored, Garrett Mayfield, Brooks Mayfield, and Mollie Mayfield, Mkenzie Webb Burnett (Chase), Leah Webb Fox ( Matt), three great grandchildren, Julianna Fox, Emmalyn Fox, and Maddie Joe Burnett, her only sister, Kathy Hendrix (Mark), nephew, Bill Stutts, and niece, Blake Hendrix-Jones. She also leaves to cherish her memory her special aunt, Opha D Davis, and special cousins, Kendra Sandlin and Barbara Cole, and her precious Yorkie, Tyler.
Visitation will be Friday, June 3, 2016 from 10:00am-12:00 with funeral to follow at Elkins Funeral Home Chapel in Florence. Burial will immediately follow at Greenview Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Garrett Mayfield, Brooks Mayfield, Brad Mayfield, Davis Sandlin, Bill Stutts, Barry Dickerson, Robert Webb. Honorary pall bearers will be Ronnie Dickerson, Mike Cole, Larry Moore, Chuck Webb, Robert Webb, Randy Webb and Steve Mayfield.
Although our family is completely devastated, we are trusting in the Lord to hold us in His hands.
