Funeral for Ann Jeanette Blasingame, 54, of Hillsboro will be Friday, August 6, 2010, at 10 a.m. at Elliot Funeral Home Chapel with the Jeff Waldrop officiating.
Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 9 p.m at the funeral home. Burial will be in East Lawrence Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Blasingame died Wednesday, August 4, 2010. She was born December 9, 1955, in Lawrence County, to Clyde and Annie Ayers Rutherford. She loved her family more than life itself.
She is preceded in death by five brothers; Ray Rutherford, Waymon Rutherford, "Tootsie" Bobby Gene Rutherford, Edward Laveral Rutherford and Larry Paul Rutherford.
She is survived by her husband, Dennis Blasingame; two sons, Tim Blasingame (Michelle) and Tony Blasingame, both of Hillsboro; two grandchildren, Tyler Blasingame and Whitney Bediford, both of Hillsboro; two step-grandchildren, Courtney Parker and Anthony Parker, both of Moulton; two sisters, Joyce Engle (Roger) of Hillsboro and Carolyn Sams (Bill) of Trinity; and four brothers, Ronnie Rutherford of Hillsboro, Burl Rutherford (Brenda) of Hillsboro, Stevie Rutherford (Candy) of Hillsboro, and Randall Rutherford (Kim) of Danville.
Pallbearers will be Bo Phillip Blasingame, Jason Blasingame, Tim Gatlin, Chris Sams, Roger Engle and Laveral Rutherford.
