OBITUARY ANN COVINGTON
Mrs. Ann Irene Covington, 93, 0f Killen, passed away Sunday, November 14, 2010 at Lauderdale Christian Nursing Home. Visitation will be Tuesday beginning at 1:30 p.m. at Elkins East Chapel Funeral Home. The funeral will follow at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel. Bro. Charles Kretzer will officiate. Burial will follow in Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Covington was a retired nurse from Colonial Manor Hospital and was a member of the Eastwood Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by cousins Jessie and Buddy Martindale. She is survived by daughters Kathryn Hudson and husband Ray of Killen and Peggy Blue of Florence; granddaughters Katrina Hudson of Oneonta, Tamara Howard and husband Tony of Florence and Jennifer Collum and husband Jeff of Florence; great-grandchildren Maggie and Eli Howard, Ally and Emily Collum, and Dusty Howard; great-great grandson Jastin Redding. Pallbearers will be Jeff Collum, Tony Howard, Barrett Lee, Eli Howard, Dusty Howard, and Dustin Redding.
