Annette King Holden, 77, of Mitchell Town died Wednesday, January 21, 2015, at ECM Hospital.
Visitation will be Friday, January 23, 2015, at Elkins East Chapel from 5-8 PM. Funeral services will be Saturday, January 24, 2015, at Elkins East Chapel at 11 AM with Bro. W.R. "Bobby" Collins officiating. Burial will follow at Bluewater Cemetery.
Mrs. Holden was a graduate of Lexington High School. She enjoyed reading and playing Rummy, Dominoes, and Rook with friends and family. She also enjoyed going to the Lexington Senior Center. She was a member of Elgin Crossroads Primitive Baptist Church. Most of all she enjoyed her grandchildren, they were the "Apple of her eyes".
Mrs. Holden was preceded in death by her parents, Byce and Irene King; brothers, Wallace, Stanley, and Alton King.
Mrs. Holden is survived by her daughter, Sherri Burgess (Jeff); two sons, Terry Holden (Rhonda) and Gary Holden (Glenda); sister-in-law, Wanda King; brother, Royce King (Nancy); seven grandchildren, Alanna Sullivan (Todd), Matthew Holden, Daniel Holden, Jakeb Holden, Clint Burgess, Lacey Burgess, and Colt Burgess; two great-grandchildren, Katelyn Sullivan and Deacon Sullivan; numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Matthew Holden, Daniel Holden, Jakeb Holden, Todd Sullivan, Clint Burgess, Colt Burgess, and Kaylab Hairrell.
