Funeral for Anthony James Peebles, will be on Thursday June 1st, 2023 at Elliott's Brown-Service Chapel at 1:00 PM with Rev. R.C. Borden officiating. The family will have a public visitation from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM. The Burial will be Private at Morris Chapel cemetery.

Mr. Peebles was born in Lawrence County Alabama to Harry Peebles Jr. and Evelyn Nadine Peebles. He passed away on Saturday May27, 2023 at Decatur Morgan Hospital.

Survived by his wife Tasha Peebles, Son Damian Peebles, Daughter Alexis Gilliam (Clayton Gilliam Jr.) Two brothers Doyle Peebles (Yvette), Jimmy Peebles (Debbie). Two sisters Tracey Treadway (Randy) and Linda Harris (Philip).
