April Lynn Baddley, 41, of Florence passed away Monday, September 29, 2008.
The funeral service will be Wednesday, October 1, 2008 at 3:00pm in the Chapel of Elkins Funeral Home. Officiating will be Bro. David McKelvey with burial to follow at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends before the service from 1:00pm until service time.
April is preceded in death by her grandfather, Willie Presley.
April was a kindergarten teacher at Weeden Heights Elementary. She loved each and every one her students; they were her life. She kept pictures of all her students, and followed them as they progressed through school. She enjoyed cooking, watching old movies, spending time with her nieces, and was an avid reader.
April is survived by her parents, Nancy and Warren Baker, Jr.; brother, Dr. Harper M. Baddley, III and wife Sherry; grandmother, Marie Presley; nieces, Debora and Riley Baddley.
