Funeral for Aubrey W. Presson, 83, of Decatur will be today, November 24, 2010, at noon at Ridout's Brown-Service Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill Lykins officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
Mr. Presson, who died Saturday, November 20, 2010, at Decatur General Hospital, was born May 19, 1927, in Charleston, Mo., to Ira and Bertha Presson. He was a member of Albany Baptist Church. He was also the current church treasurer and a Sunday school teacher.
Survivors are his wife of 60 years, Bertie Presson; two daughters, Sharon Brisco and Marisa Hediger; one son, Terry Presson; eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
