Funeral for Augzelle Bean, 74, of Moulton will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, December 31, 2013, at Elliott's Brown-Service Funeral Home with the Rev. Alan Compton, Pastor of Parkway Baptist Church and the Rev. Keith Whitley of Victory Baptist Church of Cullman officiating. Music will be provided by the Long Family Singers. Burial will be at Union Hill Cemetery at 2:30 p.m. in Lawrence County Tennessee. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 9 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Bean, who died Saturday, December 28, 2013, at her home was born August 30, 1939 in Lawrenceburg, Tenn. to Otis and Mollie Garrard.

She was a member of Parkway Baptist Church in Moulton and was a preacher's wife for 49-1/2 years. A graduate of the Toledo Baptist Bible College of Ohio where she obtained her BA in Elementary Eduation and earned her Masters Degree in Business at the University of Detroit. Her greatest accomplishment in life was being a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, but most of all she was a soul winner. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Mitchel D. Bean Sr.; her parents; and a sister, Shirley Garrard.

She is survived by two sons, Mitchel D. Bean Jr. and Ronald T. Bean Sr.; a daughter, Deborah K. Bean (Sam Melson); seven grandchildren, Rachel, Candace, Mitchel III, Timmy, Norman, Alex, and Annie; one great-grandchild, Eli; and a brother, the Rev. Robert Garrard (Bette).

Pallbearers will be Norman Paul Bean, Alexander Jacob Bean, Sam Melson, Ricky Long, Steve Long and Willie Braun.
