Visitation will be held on Monday, October 15, 2015 from 11-1:00 p.m. at Elkins East Chapel.  A private family graveside will follow that afternoon at Elmwood Cemetery in Town Creek with Bro. J.D. Harrison officiating.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Kay Dell Bryant; son, Robert Wayne Bryant; parents, Grady and Cecile Bryant; sisters, Bobbie Nicholson, Betty Strickland, Brenda Whitt and Shelia Franks.

Survivors include his children, Vanessa Kay Thaxton (David Lynn) of Lexington, Christopher Dale Bryant (Sally) of Ford City, Candance Lynn Springer (Shannon) of Rogersville; grandchildren, Taylor Thaxton, Daniel Thaxton, Luke Bryant, Kaylee Bryant, Titus Springer, Isaac Springer and Eli Springer; brother, Larry Bryant.

Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Southern Care hospice; Brittany Kelly and Trish Hagan and to Dr. Irons and staff.

In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Ford City Baptist Church.
