Barbara L. Hooper (Lowery)'s Obituary
Funeral for Barbara L. Hooper, 70 of Athens, will be Friday, August 9th at 2:00 PM at Elliott Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. David Calhoun officiating.
Burial will be at Union Hill Cemetery in Parkertown.
Visitation will be Thursday from 6 until 9 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Hooper, who died, Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at her residence, was born June 3, 1943 in Moulton Alabama to Walter & Inos Lowery. She was a member of Calvary Assembly of God Church and was retired from the State of Alabama.
She is survived by her husband, James C. "Jim" Hooper; one son, Steffan deGraffenried; one daughter Regina Wimberley; one step-son, Gene Hill; three brothers; James H. Lowery, John W. Lowery and Jim R. Lowery; seven Grandchildren and two Great Grandchildren.
