Funeral for Barbara Gail Melson Keenum, 67, of Moulton will be Thursday, April 21, 2011, at 2 p.m. at Ridout's Brown-Service Funeral Home with Bro. Patrick Smith, Bro. Harold Hall and Bro. Carold Hall officiating. Burial will be in Red Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Keenum, who died Monday, April 18, 2011, was born March 20, 1944, in Lawrence County to Abern and Kathleen Melson. She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Belinda Lynn Keenum Terry; and two brothers, Billy Joe Melson and Berry Wayne Melson.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Farris "Fuzz" Keenum; four sons, Charles Keenum (Kim) and Terry Robin "Chuck" Keenum (Dana), both of Decatur, Douglas Lewis Keenum (Darlene) of Rogersville and Scotty Lynn Keenum (Tina) of Moulton; two daughters, Sherrie Lynn Keenum Lowe (Larry) of Trinity and Tina Ann Keenum Garcia (Felipe) of Hartselle; 21 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; two brothers, Bobby Wayne Melson of Midway and Harold Gene Melson (Angela) of Wolf Springs; and two sisters, Brenda Nell Melson Randolph (Gary) of Caddo and LyGitta Melson Osborne (Robert) of Danville.
Pallbearers will be grandsons.
