Barry Allen Barnes age 54 of Muscle Shoals, passed away on Thursday, April 28, 2016. Visitation will be held on Monday, May 2, 2016 at Elkins East Chapel from Noon until 2:00pm with services in the chapel at 2:00pm with Burt Wright, a long time brother and friend. Burial will be held at a later date at Civitan Cemetery.

He is preceded in death by his father Thomas Barnes, mother Dorothy Barnes, daughter Johannah Barnes, sister Sherrie Deak, Brother-in-law Sammy Beard, grandmother Frieda Marie Barnes, grandfather Fount Barnes and great-grandfather Malaka Johnson.

Barry is survived by two children. His son Jacob D. Barnes and daughter Jessica D. Barnes (Shane). Grandchild Megan Priest. Sister Donna Beard. Nieces and nephews, Stacie Weatherman (Brandy), Ivana Beard, Jason Deak, Joe Deak (Heather), Jazmine Peden, Christian Beard, Azleigh, Addison and Harper Belew, Katie and Mya Deak, and Haleigh Jones.

He is a graduate from Lauderdale County High School. Worked with Fuller Heating and Air for 14 years. He was an avid Alabama football fan and he was also a history buff.
