Funeral for Bernice M. Poole, 98, of Trinity will be Tuesday, March 12, 2013, at 11 a.m. at Ridout's Brown-Service Funeral Home with Brother Dallas Culver officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Mrs. Poole, who died Saturday, March 9, 2013, was born February 22, 1915, in De Kalb, Miss., to Reverend John F. and Rossie Poole. She taught first grade for many years at Neel and West Morgan schools and loved her students as if they were her children. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church for 72 years.

Survivors include two sons, Charles (Sandra) and Johnny (Linda) of Trinity; one daughter, Jan Aschliman (Steve) of Nashville, Tenn.; three grandsons, Jerald, Jonathon (Scarlet) of Trinity and Philip Aschliman (Beth) of Johnson City, Tenn.; two granddaughters, Dawn (Robert) of Ocean Springs, Miss., and Angie Aschliman of Nashville.

Pallbearers will be friends of family.
