Funeral for Bessie M. Bolton, 100, of Trinity will be Saturday, Jan. 3, 2009, at 2 p.m. at Ridout''s Brown-Service Funeral Home with the Rev. Dallas Culver officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from noon until 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Bolton, who died Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2008, at NHC in Moulton, was born Oct. 16, 1908, in Lawrence County to Tiller and Ella Terry. She loved to quilt, and was the oldest member of Trinity United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Bolton, three brothers, Furman Terry, Clarence Terry and Rayburn Terry, and two sisters, Clezell Bibb and Mozell Makemson. Survivors include one daughter, Sara Maner and husband, Lloyd, of Trinity; two sons, Billy Bolton and wife, Estelle, of Trinity, and Jim Bolton of Hartselle; one brother, Thomas Terry and wife, Deria, of Decatur; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Barry Maner Sr., Bob Bolton, Barry Maner Jr., Dusty Maner, Randy Burns and Larry Johnson.
