Bettie J. Johnson, 90, of Decatur passed away September 5, 2023. Her Visitation will be on Saturday September 9, 2023 at Ridout's Brown-Service funeral home chapel at 1:00 pm and her  funeral will follow at 2:00 PM in the chapel and her burial will be at Roselawn Cemetery.

Mrs. Johnson was born in Anniston Alabama on June 1, 1933 to Shirley Elden Jacobs and Norene Lula Collier Jacobs. She was a member of Parkview Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her son Rex Edward Johnson and her husband Billy Edward Johnson.

She is survived by her three daughters Patty Krekelberg and husband Don, Rheda Brown and husband Roy, Susan Walden. Grandsons Jacob Johnson, John Dietz, Great grandchildren Oliver Dietz, Kaylee Johnson, Riley Johnson, Drew Johnson, Kaleb Johnson.
