Services for Betty Joan Hopkins Burfield, 86, of Trinity will be on Saturday September 21, 2024 with a visitation starting at 10:30 AM until 11:30 AM at Elliott's Brown-Service Funeral Home and at 12:00 PM a Graveside service at Mount Hope Methodist Church Cemetery with Bruce Ward officiating.

Mrs Burfield was born in Lawrence County Alabama to Carlie E Hopkins and Gertrude Hopkins and she passed away on September 17, 2024 at her residence. She was a member of Harmony Baptist Church. She retired from West Morgan school library and was preceded in death by two brothers Billy Hopkins and Ted Hopkins also her granddaughter Caitlin Faith Morgan.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years Jimmy Carl Burfield. Son Brad Burfield and wife Jennifer, Daughter Tiffany Morgan and husband Chris. Six grandchildren Lexie Smith and husband Sam, Kenzie Burfield, Ginnie Burfield, Zac Morgan, Trevor Morgan. Sister Carol Hopkins Meadows.
