Betty Peck passed away surrounded by her family on April 30, 2013, at ECM Hospital.
Visitation will be Wednesday, May 1, 2013, at Elkins East Chapel from 6-9 PM. Funeral services will be at Center Star Church of Christ Thursday, May 2, 2013, at 2 PM with Bro. Bill Lyons officiating. Ms Peck will lie in state from 1-2 at the church. Burial will be at Butler Cemetery.
She was a devoted wife, loving mother, and wonderful mammaw. She was a lover of fashion and enjoyed her self made career as an interior decorator and seamstress for numerous homes in the Shoals area and other various locations. She loved spending time with family and taking outings with her friends who were an extension of her family. She will be sorely missed by all. She was a faithful member of Center Star Church of Christ.
Ms Peck was preceded in death by her parents Mr. and Mrs. William Mitchell; husband Lellon Peck; brothers Charles and Billy Mitchell.
She is survived by her children Derrel Peck and wife Faith and Pam Passafiume and husband David; grandchildren Kelli Thompson (Layne), Drew Peck, Chase Passafiume, Katie Dadi (Gabe), David Passafiume, and Emily Passafiume; great-grandchildren Brody Peck and Reagan Thompson; brother Don Mitchell (Freda); many nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Drew Peck, Chase Passafiume, David Passafiume, Layne Thompson, David Passafiume, Jr., and Mike Jones.
