Betty Narmore, 85, of Center Star, passed away Saturday, November 25, 2017 at Mitchell Hollingsworth Nursing Home. Visitation will be Sunday, November 26, 2017 at Elkins East Chapel from 3:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M. The service will be Monday, November 27, 2017 at Elkins East Chapel beginning at 11:00 A.M. Brother W.L. Wallace will be officiating. Burial will be at Center Star Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Narmore; parents, Archie and Mavis Snoddy; brothers, Thomas Reeder Snoddy and Henry Maples Snoddy; sisters, Lucille Snoddy Holden and Lela Snoddy Dison
She is survived by her son, Mark Narmore (Sandy); grandchildren, Faith Narmore and Joshua Narmore; brothers, Billy Snoddy (Nancy), Johnny Snoddy (Merle); sister, Marie Oldham; and many nieces and nephews.She was a lifelong church member of Center Star Church and worked at Maries Beauty Shop in Center Star. The family would like to thank Dr. Ricky Irons and Sally, the staff at Mitchell Hollingsworth Rehab and Nursing, ECM Hospital and Amedisys Hospice.
