Betty Scarbrough, 88, of Florence passed away on September 22, 2020. She was a dedicated charter member of Woodmont Baptist Church.

Betty is survived by her daughter, Beth (Billy) Rouse; beloved grandchildren, Christy Rouse, Andrew Rouse; beloved great-grandchildren, Luke Thomas, Kylie Tarpley, Jaxon Cody; and sister Dot Holland.

She was preceded in death by her parents Bill and Hazel Holland; her husband William Scarbrough; son, Toby Scarbrough; siblings, Jo Sanders, and Bill Holland.

A private family graveside service will be held for Mrs. Scarbrough on Sunday, September 27, 2020 at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens; Chad Hess will be officiating the service.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the social services ministry at Woodmont Baptist Church to help those in need. The family would also like to extend a special thank you to the Nurses and assistants at Florence Nursing Home for all of their care and support; and their church family and friends at Woodmont Baptist Church for all of the continued prayers and love.
