Memorial service for Beverley Ann Johnson, 62, of Decatur will be Monday, Aug. 6, 2007, at 2 p.m. at Ridout''s Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be one hour before the service. Mrs. Johnson, who died Friday, Aug. 3, 2007, was born Aug. 21, 1944. She was a devoted wife, and loving mother and grandmother. Her first love was to cheer her grandchildren from the stands in wherever their interests lay. They were her joy and the light of her life. She will be remembered with love. Mrs. Johnson was an active member of the Echota Tribe of Alabama and the American Budgerigar Society. Suvivors include her husband, Howard "Gene" Johnson; four children, Becky McElroy Richard (Gerald), Dorothy Bahney Potter (Bruce), and Ken McElroy, all of Decatur, and Russell Bahney (Sherry), of Claremore, Okla.; sisters, Marcella Woody (Patrick), of Rogersville, Watseka Farney (Richard), of Cape Canaveral, Fla., Arletta Harris (Bill), of Merritt Islands, Fla., and Annie Alcorn (Tim), of Cincinnati; her parents, June Casebolt of Merrill Islands, Fla., and Fred Alcorn (Mary Ann), of Cincinnati; brother-in-law, Billy Paul Johnson, sister-in-law, Carol Wilson (Tim), and brother-in-law, David Johnson, all of Priceville; and grandchildren, Hunter, Houston and Summer McElroy, Thomas Russell, Trey and Tanner Richard, Michael Meyer and Kurtis Gelger.
