Mrs, Beverly Ann Tank, 74, of Florence, went home to be with her savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, March 17, 2010.
The graveside funeral service will be Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at the Killen Cemetery with Bro. Henry Melton officiating. The family will visit with friends at the cemetery after the service.
Mrs. Tank was born in 1935 in Missouri. She met her husband Thomas there and they moved back to his hometown of Killen. She was a woman of great faith who loved Jesus and loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a very intelligent, artistic, and creative woman who enjoyed knitting and was an avid reader.
She is survived by sons Terry Tank, Florence, Michael Tank, Florence, Ronnie Tank and wife Debra, Killen; daughters Cheryl Goodwin and husband David, Town Creek, and Janice Ford and husband Ricky, Killen; grandchildren Ronnie Tank, Jr. and wife Betsy, Shawn Moore and wife Shawna, Matthew Tank and wife Mindy, Monika Riley and husband Lee, Charles Tank and Thomas Tank; 14 great-grandchildren. She is missed by her cats and Paco.
Mrs. Tank was preceded in death by her mother Ann Walker, father Ora Reynolds, husband Thomas Tank, daughter-in-law Vicky Tank and a grandson.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
