Billie Lawrence Couch, Sr., age 76, of Decatur, died on Tuesday August 10, 2010 at his residence.
Funeral services will be on Friday August 13, 2020 at 10 am at Ridout''s Brown Service Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Rob Jackson and Bro Wayne Newby officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday August 12, 2010 from 6 pm until 8 pm.
Mr. Couch was born on June 22, 1934 in Morgan Co. Alabama to Wilbur and Sallie Halbrooks Couch. He was a member of Central Baptist Church and was a retired postal clerk from the U. S. Postal Service. Mr. Couch served in the U. S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Couch, his parents, Wilbur and Sallie Couch, and his brother, Wilbur Lee Couch, Jr.
Mr. Couch is survived by his wife, Corinne Couch of Decatur; his sons, Billie Lawrence Couch, Jr. (Lisa) of Decatur, Greg Couch (Diane) of Hartselle, and Bobby Couch (Cindy) of Speake; his stepson, Mike Fuller of Decatur; daughter, Debbie Smith ( Keith) of Danville; his step daughter, Angie Fuller of Decatur; 13 Grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Ed Denson, Ed Higdon, Charles Vildibil, Don Marshall, Billy Crosswhite, and Cliff Files.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Central Baptist Church Building Fund or to the Hospice of the Valley.
Ridout''s Brown Service Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
