Funeral services for Billy Ray Blackwood, 71 of Moulton will be held at 2PM Sunday in the
chapel of Elliott Funeral Home with Jimmy Fuller officiating. Interment will follow at Mount
Hope Methodist Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8PM Saturday at the funeral home.
Mr. Blackwood was born November 16, 1946 in Moulton to Carl and Leona Hanvy
Blackwood, and passed away Thursday March 1, 2018 at Cullman Regional Hospital.
Mr. Blackwood was preceded in death by his parents Carl and Leona Blackwood; brother
Ricky Joe Blackwood; and sisters Gail Hood anad Edith Robinson.
He is survived by his brother Rayburn Blackwood and wife Diane; sisters Joyce Cameron and
Laverne Murphy; and his nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Rodney Cameron, Johnny Tidwell, Tim Parker, Kenneth Hanvy, Gene
Murphree, Joel Murphree, Phillip Parker and Randall Parker.
