Funeral for Billy Lynn Hill, 54, of Decatur will be Monday, July 11, 2011, at 1 p.m. at Ridout's Brown-Service Chapel with Bro. Robert Newman officiating. Burial will be in Valhermoso Springs Holiness Church Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
Mr. Hill died Saturday, July 9, 2011. He was born January 19, 1957, in Warren, Mich., to William Hill and Margaret Borden. Hill. His father preceded him in death.
He is survived by his wife, Tammy Hill; his mother and stepfather, Margaret and Euell Hill of Decatur; one son, Billy Wade Hill of Decatur; one daughter, Kristy Hill of Decatur; two brothers, Tony Hill of Decatur and Dennis Hill of Falkville; two sisters, Rebecca Travers of Decatur and Tammy Clem of Falkville; and three grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Corey Hart, Harvey Jordan, Chris Waldrep, Joe Morris, Mike Tudor and Dennis Ikard.
