Funeral service for Billy Wayne Nix will be Monday, February 8, 2016 at My Fathers House Church at 11:00 am. with Bro. James Williams officiating and burial will be at Mt Hope Methodist cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, February 7. 2016 at My Fathers House Church from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
Mr. Nix, who died Thursday, February 4, 2016 at home, was born on August 17, 1956. He was a truck driver.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Silas Lee Nix and Evelyne White Nix.
Survivors include: son, Johnny Nix, daughters Cindy Owens, Matilda Loosier, Cassandra Nix, Freida Nix, Katie Vargas and sister Janice Johnson Mayhew.
Elliott Brown Service Funeral Home is assisting the family.
