Billy Gerald Phillips' Obituary
Billy Gerald Phillips, 69, of Florence passed away on Tuesday, March 26, 2013. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. on Thursday, March 28, 2013 at Elkins Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Oak Grove Cemetery in Waterloo with Bros. Larry Burbank and Wayne Wood officiating.
Billy is survived by four sisters, Grace Mozelle Mitchell, Marcella Vernette Carter, Clista Faye Scott and Mable Rita Johnson; sister-in-law, Martha Chambers; granddaughter, Cassie Staggs Langley; and nieces, Norma Jean Matthews and Anna Risner.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma Phillips and stepson, Randall Wayne Staggs.
Pallbearers will be Gaylon Phillips, Benny Sharpston, Jason Sharpston, Marcus Goodloe, LeRoy Cromwell and Jerry Butler.
