Funeral for Billy R. Woodard, 81, of Moulton will be Saturday, December 15, 2012, at 2:30 p.m. at Aldridge Grove Church of Christ, with Bro. Jim Bryant and Bro. Kenneth Johnson officiating and Elliott Funeral Home directing. Burial will be at Aldridge Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
Mr. Woodard, who died Wednesday, December 12, 2012, was born on August 18, 1931, in Lawrence County to John F. and Ruby Aldridge Woodard.
Mrs. Woodard was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, John Orman Woodard.
Mr. Woodard retired from Solutia and owned Draper's Market and Woodard Sales. He was a veteran of the Korean War.
He is survived by his wife, Lockie Stokes Woodard; one son, John G. Woodard; two daughters, Luci Rebecca Woodard and Linda Woodard Nichols; one grandson, Garrett Nichols; and one brother, William Ray Woodard.
Pallbearers will be Don Woodard, Tony Woodard, Charles Morgan, Glenn Johnson, Wayne Ellis and Waymon Wallace.
