Bobbie Nell Ward
Decatur The toughest woman ever known lost her battle with congestive heart failure and multiple strokes on September 20th, 2015 and passed away in her home. Bobbie Nell Garnett Ward, otherwise known as "Bobbie," born August 25, 1933, worked for Point Mallard as campground manager for more than 25 years. She touched the lives of so many people through her work and made hundreds, if not thousands of friends during her time there. She left a lasting impression on anyone ever pleasured to spend time with her. She was a dedicated worker and absolutely loved her job. She is loved by so many and will never be forgotten. She retired from Point Mallard in 2000, but was always around to lend a helping hand or give advice well after her retirement. Bobbie loved to work Bobbie loved flowers Bobbie loved her garden
Bobbie loved ducks
Bobbie loved to cook and bake and share with everyone
Bobbie loved to eat, even though she never gained an ounce
Bobbie loved to pick a fight in good fun
But most of all, Bobbie loved her family!
She was so much more than a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she was our hero. It will be difficult to go on without her, but she taught her family well how to live life to the fullest every moment of every day. She is truly loved and missed.
