Bobby Ray Dennis, 82, Lexington, Alabama passed away on Friday, September 3rd at El Reposo Nursing Home, Greenhill Alabama. Bobby was preceded in death by his wife Margaret Ferne Edwards Dennis, and parents Jack and Velma Dennis. He is survived by his children Kimberly Bump (Billy), Thomas Dennis, and Suzanne Dennis. He is survived by grandchildren Levi Bump (Rebecca), Elizabeth Andersen, Rachel Dennis, and Ryleigh Dennis. He is also survived by his great-grandchildren Lily Grace Andersen, Jude and Ezra Bump. Bobby is also survived by his brother Gerald Dennis (Rebecca), his sister, Sara Barton (Bill), and niece Bethany Dennis, also surviving Bobby is his special Aunt, Elizabeth Glass of Russellville, Alabama. Bobby leaves behind a host of family and friends. He will be greatly missed.
Bobby served his country in the U.S. Army he later went on to retire from International Paper Company after many years of service. He was a member of the first Baptist Church of Rogersville Alabama where he had served as a deacon.
The family would like to say a special thank you to the staff of El Reposo Nursing Home, especially to Vikki Tubbs. We are eternally grateful for the kind and loving care provided to Bobby during his brief stay there.
