Bobby Eugene Ford, 75 of Florence, AL passed away on Friday, April 19, 2019.  He was active member of Underwood Baptist Church where he volunteered for many years with the homebound meals program.  He was also active with the Underwood Dixie Youth League and was retired after 35 years of service at LaRoche Industries.

Visitation will be held on Monday, April 22, 2019 from 1-2:00 p.m. at Elkins Funeral Home.  The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev Donnie McDaniel and Rev. Jerry Phillips officiating.  Interment will be in Greenview Memorial Park.

He was preceded in death by his parents Randle and Charlene Ford; brothers, Jerry and Ronald Ford; son, Randy Ford.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Jeanette Ford; sons, Eric Ford (Courtney) and Chris Ford (Leah); siblings, Charles Ford (Joyce), Kaye Barker (Glenn); grandchildren, Natalie, Katie and Braxton Ford; sisters-in-law, Faye and Evelyn Ford; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Steve Bevis, Charles Burchell, Steve Abston, Larry Evans, Justin Walton and Brad Barker.
