Brenda Fowler Blanton, 70, of Florence died Thursday, April 25, 2019, at her residence.

Visitation will be Saturday, April 27, 2019, 12-2 PM at Elkins Funeral Home.  A graveside service will follow at 2:45 PM at Walston Cemetery, with Bro. Tom Phillips officiating.

Mrs. Blanton was a member of New Beginning Church.  She was a graduate of Coffee High School and the University of North Alabama.  She was the owner of Ariana's Book Exchange.  She loved reading, crossword puzzles, scrabble, and playing Rummy.

Mrs. Blanton was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas H. Blanton; parents, J. W. (Jr.) and Helen Cooper Fowler; grandparents, Wayne Fowler and Cora Fowler and George and Madgie Cooper.

Mrs. Blanton is survived by her children, Britt Blanton (Brandy), Judy Brewer (Jerry), and Brenda Bowser (Bob); grandchildren, Clay Brewer, Fowler Blanton, Scout Blanton, Brawner Blanton, Meghan Fischer, and Jaclyn Ramirez; great-grandchildren, Kollin, Kourtni, Kalvin, and Konner Fischer, and Adrian Ramirez; sister, Vickie Miller (Joe).
