Brenda Hankins, age 74, died Friday, September 6, 2019.  Visitation will be Wednesday, September 11 2019, at Ridout's Funeral Home from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Funeral service will be Thursday, September 12, at 2:00 pm at Ridout's Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will be at Grange hall Cemetery.

Brenda was born December 2, 1944 in Morgan County to Clyde Thomas Smith and Dorothy McDonald Smith.  She was retired from Bud's Convience Store.  She was a very dedicated mother.

She is preceded in death by her son: Jamie Hankins.

Survivors include son: John Hankins of Decatur, Daughter: Melissa Hankins and husband Adam, daughter-in-law: Monica Grimes.  She is also survived by grandchildren: Paige Hankins, Amie Hankins, Cody Taylor and Brittany Chambers.  Great-granddaughter, Allyson Mabe.

Pallbearers are family and friends.
