Mrs. Brenda Holden, age 76 of Florence, passed away at Mitchell Hollingsworth on Wednesday, July 24, 2024. Services will be held at the Elkins East Chapel in Killen on Saturday, July 27 beginning at 1pm. Visitation will be held in the chapel at 12pm. Burial will immediately follow the service at Butler Cemetery in Killen. Kaleb Jones will be officiating the service.

Mrs. Holden was a very loving and selfless woman. Nothing brought her greater joy than being with her family and watching Alabama football. She loved to cook and cut up with her friends and family.

Mrs. Holden loved everyone and was loved by everyone.

She is survived by her children, Brian Jones (Joy), Barry Jones (Mary), Tonia McCarley (Barry), Billy Holden (Joann), Derrick Holden (Amanda); grandchildren, Kaleb and Karly Jones, Bradley and Brooke Jones, Emilly Roberts, Jordyn Kelley, Jadyn Credille, Brennan and Lucas Rook, Johnathan Holden, Randi Holden, and B.J. McCarley; three great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; sister, Diane Michaels; and Butch Jones. She is preceded in death by her husband, Bill Holden; parents, Dewey and Dessie Clemmons; sister, Jewell; brothers, Billy Ray, Jerry, and Glenn.

The family would like to give special thanks to DaVita Dialysis and Mitchell Hollingsworth for the care they provided to Mrs. Holden.
