Brian David Bevis, 49, of Killen died Thursday, November 22, 2012, at ECM Hospital. Visitation will be at Elkins East Chapel Saturday, November 24, 2012, from 1-2 PM. Funeral services will follow at 2 PM in the chapel with Bro. David McKelvey and Bro. Bobby Walton officiating. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery in Town Creek, Alabama. Brian retired from the US Coast Guard and was a member of Western Heritage Christian Fellowship Church. Brian is survived by his loving wife of 27 years Gala Greene Bevis; three daughters Aundrea Bevis, Angela Lancaster, and Amanda Bevis; grandson Carter Lancaster; father David T. Bevis; mother Alice Ryan; two sisters Celisa Cappelon and Kara Wiren; brother Drew Bevis. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Lash, Jackie Williams, Charles Irons, Gary White, Butch Collins, and Terry Tipper.
