Bynum Leon Jenkins
Decatur Gone to be with the Lord on May 15, 2016, Bynum Leon Jenkins, age 91. Service will be Wednesday, 2 p.m. at Faith Baptist Church with Rev. Jeremy Nason officiating and Ridout''s Brown-Service directing. Visitation is from 1 p.m. until time of service. Burial will be at Burnigtree Cemetery.

Mr. Jenkins, who passed away May 15, 2016 at Decatur Morgan Hospital was born Sept. 22, 1924 in Irondale, Alabama. He was a World War II veteran and worked at Grace Baptist School until it became Decatur Heritage Christian Academy. He was a deacon for 37 years at Faith Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Peggy F. Jenkins and son, Stephen L. Jenkins and wife, Karen.
