Byron V. Nicely's Obituary
Byron Vaughn Nicely, 91, of Florence, passed away Monday, July 11, 2011.
Mr. Nicely was a graduate of the University of Tennessee, a World War II veteran, and a self-employed Certified Public Accountant for over 30 years. He was an avid fisherman.
A private graveside service was held Wednesday morning at the Florence City Cemetery.
Mr. Nicely is survived by his wife of 65 years Mary Droke Nicely; three daughters, Becky Nicely of Selmer, Tennessee, Nancy Stanley and her husband Eddie Ray of Toney, Alabama and Mary V. Nicely of Florence; grandson Ben DeLeeuw and wife Susie of Iuka, Mississippi; two great-granddaughters.
The family wishes to thank Dr. David Hollis and staff, and Dr. R.D. Flowers.
