Visitation will be Tuesday, February 27, 2018, 12-2 PM at Elkins East Chapel.  Funeral services will follow at 2 PM in the chapel.

Mrs. Gowan loved doing crafts, gardening, and tending to her pets and chickens.

Mrs. Gowan was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Ruth Reynolds; nieces, Bobbie June Fowler and Stacey Tyler; nephew, Reginal Fowler.

Mrs. Gowan is survived by her husband, Jimmy Roy Gowan; three daughters, Sherry Matsuno (Roy), Ann Ghrigsby (John), and Michelle Ward (Johnny); grandchildren, Johnathan Ward (Sharrun), Kayla Ward, and Kristie Ghrigsby; sisters, Dixie Barnett and Ruth Fowler; numerous nieces and nephews; pets, Coco and Max.
