Carl William Stuart age 83, of Decatur, AL. passed away peacefully Thursday, August 31, 2023 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. Mr Stuart was born to Joseph William Stuart and Ruth Elefair Jackson Stuart on June 2, 1940 in Decatur, AL.

Mr. Stuart was a devoted husband for 58 years to Martha Elizabeth McCann Stuart. He served our country faithfully through the United States Air Force and was a master machinist and bladesmith. He is preceded in death by his loving wife Martha and their son, Bill Stuart.

He is survived by his three children: Debbie (Bill) Bradford, Todd (Debra) Stuart, and Tina (Scott) Goss. Eight grandchildren: Clay Bradford, Caitlin  Chandler, Dalton Goss, Amber Goss Edmonson, Megan Goss Vogtsberger, Adam Stuart, Jackson Stuart, and  Magan Stuart.

Nine great-grandchildren  Noah, Catherine, Cain, Hazel, Jesse,  Emery, Kennedy, Maggie, Holland. One sister  Mary DeLoach One brother  Butch Stuart.

Visitation will be at Impact Church- 1701 Carridale Street SW Decatur, AL. Friday, September 8, 2023 from 4:00PM to 6:00PM and a celebration of life service will follow at 6:00PM.
