Carol Little Buckins
Our Lord and Savior welcomed home one of his children, Carol Little Buckins, on April 30, 2017. Carol was surrounded by family and friends, receiving the love she had given to so many. Carol was born in Moulton Alabama on July 4, 1947 to William C. and Ruby Little and resided in Florence, Alabama for most of her Life. She was preceded in death by her mother and father. Her memory will be lovingly cherished by her sister Annette Sanderson and Husband Ott; her brother Farol Little and wife Karen; Nephews Scott Sanderson and wife Cathy and Bart Sanderson and wife Kate; and niece Anna Chancellor and Husband Duncan. Carol also brought joy to her four great nieces; Laura Lee Latham- Wood; Grace Katherine Kaebny Sanderson, Jemma Rose Kaehny Sanderson, and Maggie James Chancellor and one great great nephew Oliver Houston Wood. Carol leaves memories to countless friends including Doris Warhurt of Sheffield Alabama, her closest friend of over 40 years. Carol was always known to have a passion for her work. Some of her greatest friends, times and memories were made when she worked for FAME recording studios and Muscle Shoals sound Studio. Carol greeted those that entered with a smile and a kind heart, giving them a true "Shoals" Experience. She was an intricate part of what is known as today as the "Muscle Shoals" sound. She later retired from the University of North Alabama where she served in the Financial Aid Department.
Visitation will be at Elliott Brown-Service Funeral Home Wednesday May 3, 2017 from 11:00 AM until 12:30 PM with a Graveside service at 1:00 PM at Moulton Memory Gardens and O.D. Bowling of the Moulton Church of Christ will officiate.
