Carol Curtis Rainey's Obituary
Carol Curtis Rainey, 70, of Florence died Tuesday, December 18, 2012, at UAB Hospital.
The family will receive friends Thursday, December 20, 2012, at Elkins Funeral Home from 6-8 P.M. Funeral services will be Friday, December 21, 2012, at 2 P.M. at Faith Church, with Bro. Henry Melton and Bro. Tommy James officiating. Mrs. Rainey will lie-in-state from 1-2 P.M. Burial will be at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Rainey was a member of Faith Church and a member of the Shoals Praise and Worship Choir. She retired from ECM Hospital after 48 years of service as a LPN.
Mrs. Rainey is survived by her son William Rainey (Kelly); sisters Doris Rowden (Fred) and Billie Joyce Whitehead; brothers Jim Curtis (Maryln) and Berry Curtis (Teresa); three grandchildren Hannah Elizabeth Humphries, Michael Brodie Rainey, and Isabella Dawn Neese.
Pallbearers will be Baries Anderson, Jonathan Thorn, Ronnie Cox, James Rowden, Caleb Curtis, and Chris Whitehead. Honorary pallbearers will be the Shoals Praise and Worship Choir.
