Funeral services for Carolyn Sue Hamilton McWhorter Gentry, 84 of Moulton, will be at 2pm Friday October 26 in the chapel of Elliott Brown-Service Funeral Home with Marty Frakes officiating. Interment will follow in Moulton Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1pm until time of service.

Mrs. Gentry was born November 14, 1933 to David and Pearl Steele Hamilton of Moulton. She passed away Wednesday October 24 in Moulton. She was a lifelong resident of Moulton and a member of Moulton Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents David and Pearl Steele Hamilton, husbands Henry McWhorter and Carl Gentry, three brothers, a sister, and a granddaughter.

She is survived by her son Lyndon McWhorter(Tina); brother Billy Hamilton(Inez); sisters-in-law Margaret Hamilton and Bettye Gonzalez; granddaughters Kim Byrd(Greg) and Katie McWhorter; grandson Tim McWhorter(Analisa); and seven great grandchildren.

Specials thanks to her live-in caregiver Patricia Reece, as well as Southern Care Hospice and nurse Megan Terry.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or a favorite charity in her honor.
