Carolyn Styles visitation will be on Sunday, October 11, from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm with service to follow.  Rev. Parker Smith officating and Rideou's Brown-Service Funeral Home assisting the family.  Burial will be at Roselawn Cemetery in Decatur.

Carolyn was born 11/22/1934 to Daniel and Lutie Patrick in Morgan County, Alabama.  She is a retired nurse of Decatur General Hospital.  A loving wife, mother and grandmother.  She loved to travel.

She is survived by her husband: Wallace Styles, 5 Sons: Steven Smith (Martha)of Dadeville Alabama, Stanley Wayne Smith (Sandra) of Opelika, Al, Gary Lee Smith of Decatur, Patrick Michael Smith of Atlanta Ga., and Jeffrey Ray Smith (Melissa) of Opelika, Al.  One Step-daughter: Veronica Francine Garrison, of Falkville, 2 Step-sons: David Styles of Georga and Jerry Lee Styles of Alaska.  Step-sister Frances Patrick Chandler (Bill) of Decatur.

She is also survived by her 22 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and by many nieces, nephews and cousins

Carolyn is preceded in death by parents, stepmother, Mary Shull Patrick, and aunt, Ilar Pruett Glass, her brother, Kenneth Patrick
