Carolyn Holden Thomas, 75, of Killen died Sunday, January  8, 2023, at NAMC.

Visitation will be Wednesday, January 11, 2023, 12-2 PM at Elkins East Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 2 PM in the chapel with Bro. Danny Holden officiating. Burial will be at Butler Cemetery.

She was a graduate of Lexington High School and Calhoun College. She was a member of Elgin Primitive Baptist Church of Christ. She loved her family and enjoyed cooking for them.

Mrs. Thomas was preceded in death by her parents, Tommie and Annie Laura Holden; siblings, Georgie Holden, Arnold Holden, Leland Holden, Jimmy Holden, Cleveland Holden and Dalton Holden.

She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Johnny Thomas; children, Lisa Cuevas (Eddie), Greg Thomas (Danielle), and Joey Thomas (Michelle); grandchildren, Taryn Dean (Cory), Leah Newton (Mycal), Ryann Cuevas, Tristen Thomas, Tanner Thomas, Hunter Thomas (Allie), Hannah Thomas, Blake Hale, Garrett Hale, Zac Holt (Ann), and Shelby White (Michael); great-grandchildren, 8; sister, Shirley Collins; brother, Mark Holden.

Pallbearers will be Greg Thomas, Joey Thomas, Eddie Cuevas, Hunter Thomas, Tanner Thomas, and Mycal Newton.
