Carolyn Jean Thornton, 80, of Rogersville passed away Tuesday, April 3, 2018. Visitation will be Thursday, April 5, 2018 at First Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Rogersville from 5:30 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. A service will be held Friday, April 6, 2017 at First Cumberland Presbyterian Church at 3:30 P.M. Brother Pat Driskell will officiate. Burial will be at Civitan Cemetery in Rogersville.

She is preceded in death by her parents Ottis  and Lena Belue and Brother Sherall Belue.

She is survived by her Husband, Bayless R. Thornton Jr.; son Reynolds Thornton ;Daughter ,Melissa Thornton Hicks; grandchildren Caleb Hicks and Austin Hicks; great grandchildren, Madison Rae Hicks,Khole Mae Hicks, Lilly Ahna Greyson Doan, David Sawyer Colt Doan; Brothers Arron, Dearl, Gary, and Lannie Belue; Sister Regina Weist, Donna Dunn; and many nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Friends and Family.

She was member of the 1 ^st Cumberland Presbyterian church of Rogersville graduate of Lauderdale County High and worked at Regions Bank as a loan officer.
