Catherine C. Bowman Funeral for Catherine C. Bowman, 92, will be Friday,January, 25, 2008 at 11:00 AM at Elliott Funeral Home with Bro. Thomas Thornton officiating Burial will be Saturday at 1:00 PM in Harper Joy Assembly Church of God Cemetery in Dothan, Alabama. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at Elliott Funeral Home. Mrs Bowman, who died January 23, 2008 at Helen Keller Hospital, was born December 1, 1915 in Houston County Alabama to Preston Givens and Lula Armstrong Givens. She was preceded in death by her first husband, William Henry Butler, second husband Commer Bownan and by two sons, Billy Butler and an infant son; two daughters, Luette William and Dorothy Ward. Survivors include her daughter in law, Polly Butler of Town Creek, seven grandchildren; James, Cathy, Dine, Rndy, Carol, Stacey and Cole. 9 great grandchildren
